NEPRO³ recommended in new DfE guidance for schools
NEPRO³ has been recommended in the latest Department for Education (DfE) guidance for estate management.
The DfE Good Estate Management for Schools (GEMS) outlines the policies, processes and documents that schools, academies and multi-academy trusts should consider when managing their estates. It also signposts procurement routes for appointing goods and services relating to estate management.
The latest guidance has singled out NEPRO³ as the preferred route for educational settings to appoint and manage specialist professional services and consultancy.
Procured by NEPO and delivered by Bloom Procurement Services, NEPRO³ provides the UK public sector with a fully managed procurement service to appoint and manage specialist professional services. Contracting authorities are fully supported by Bloom from specification development through to appointment and delivery.
Steven Sinclair, Procurement & Commercial Director at NEPO said:
“When NEPO launched NEPRO in 2012, our objective was to create choice and value alongside efficiency and compliance. Since then, over 370 public sector organisations have used NEPRO to appoint professional service requirements. We are proud to have been recognised by the DfE and look forward to supporting schools and academies with their requirements.”
Paul Mander, Chief Procurement Officer at Bloom Procurement Services added:
“With a constantly evolving marketplace of over 2,500 suppliers, ranging from sole traders and SMEs to large global organisations, NEPRO³ offers choice and value to public sector organisations. At Bloom, we have successfully supported the public sector with a wide range of facilities management and construction related specialist professional services projects, and are delighted to have now been included in the latest DfE guidance.”
