NEPRO3 framework secures Department for Education approval
The NEPRO3 framework has been officially approved by the Department for Education (DfE) as a trusted procurement solution for schools, multi-academy trusts (MATs), academies, and colleges across England. This recognition highlights NEPRO3’s commitment to providing efficient, high-quality procurement support for educational institutions.
NEPRO3 is tailored to meet the procurement needs of the public sector, offering a streamlined and cost-effective solution for acquiring professional services. Covering a wide range of spend areas, NEPRO3 supports procurement in critical categories such as training, construction, ICT, education consultancy, and bid application support.
Educational institutions aiming to apply for the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) will find NEPRO3 particularly beneficial. The CIF is a vital resource for academies, sixth-form colleges, and voluntary-aided schools to address significant building condition needs. This funding ensures education providers can maintain safe, compliant, and fully operational facilities. Eligible projects under CIF include:
- Resolving health and safety concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations.
- Addressing issues in buildings that are in poor condition.
Applications to the CIF are open until Tuesday 17 December, find out more: Condition Improvement Fund - GOV.UK
The NEPRO3 framework offers schools and colleges the assurance of a proven, DfE-approved procurement method to access the expertise and services needed for such critical projects.
Ruth Long, NEPRO Procurement Specialist, said: “We are delighted that NEPRO3 has been recognised by the Department for Education as a preferred procurement solution for educational institutions. With our framework, education providers can confidently address vital needs, such as improving building conditions, through a trusted and compliant process.”
